Flower Dance Festival in Stardew Valley: Date, Partners, and Pierre's Stock

Other Games·March 6, 2026·9 min read

Spring in Stardew Valley peaks with the Flower Dance, an annual gathering where the whole town shows up to twirl in formation under the trees. If you want to attend, lock down a dance partner, or stock up on the seasonal goods Pierre puts out, here is what you need to know before the day arrives.

Date, Time, and Location

The Flower Dance takes place on Spring 24 every year. The festival window runs from 9 AM to 2 PM, and the only way in is through Cindersand Forest during those hours. From the entrance, the actual event sits just south of the Wizard's Tower, in the open clearing beyond the river.

While the festival is active, every shop and home in town stays closed. That means no last-minute errands, no quick chats with villagers, no swinging by Pierre's regular store. The day belongs to the dance.

Finding a Dance Partner

Any single bachelor or bachelorette is fair game, but the dialogue option to ask is not always sitting right on top. Keep talking to the villager you have in mind until the request prompt finally pops up.

There is one hard requirement: the villager needs at least a 4-heart friendship level with you, otherwise expect a polite refusal. If they say yes, your friendship jumps by one full heart, or 250 points. Once your partner is locked in, head over to Mayor Lewis to start the choreography.

A few extra notes worth flagging:

  • In multiplayer, players can ask each other to dance instead of pairing with NPCs.
  • Asking an ex-spouse never ends well. They will turn you down, every single time.
  • After the dance, the game teleports you back to your farm and snaps the clock to 10 PM, so plan your chores accordingly.

Pierre's Festival Booth

Pierre runs a pop-up at the festival selling spring-themed flowers and decor that you cannot get from his usual store. The full price list:

  • Ceiling Leaves (two variants): 400g
  • Daffodil: 50g
  • Dandelion: 50g
  • Rarecrow #5: 2,500g
  • S. Wall Flower: 800g
  • Seasonal Decor: 350g
  • Seasonal Plant (two variants): 350g
  • Tub O' Flowers: 250g
  • Tub O' Flowers Recipe: 1,000g
  • Wall Flower: 800g

The Rarecrow is the headline pickup for collectors chasing the full set, and the Tub O' Flowers Recipe lets you craft the decor yourself instead of buying duplicates. Everything else is purely cosmetic, so grab what fits your farmhouse aesthetic and save your gold for tools that actually farm.
