Soulmask Controls Reference: Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox, and PlayStation Bindings

Soulmask throws you into a wild island full of tribes, masks, and forgotten powers. None of that matters much if you cannot remember which key throws a punch, so the first thing worth doing is learning the layout. The full set of bindings for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation is below.

How to remap any of this

Soulmask borrows the standard survival crafting moveset: light attacks, heavy attacks, sprint, dodge rolls, and the rest of the usual toolkit. Where it differs is the tribe system, which lets you assign jobs to NPCs and manage how they spend their time.

The defaults are sensible, but you will probably want to tweak a few of them. Every binding can be reassigned on either input device. To do so:

1. Press Escape.
2. Click Game Settings on the left.
3. Pick the Keyboard and Mouse or Controller tab at the top.
4. Select the action you want to change.
5. Press the new key or button to bind it.

There are small differences between playing on a pad versus a desk setup, but neither method locks you out of anything. Pick whichever feels natural.

Keep this page open on a second screen for the first few sessions. After a while the bindings stop being a list and start being instinct, which is exactly when the masks get interesting.
