The anomalies broke containment, the lights are flickering, and the public lobbies are full of strangers with questionable strategies. Good news: HolyHosting now offers dedicated server hosting for SCP: Secret Laboratory, so your group can fight, escape, or quietly herd Class D personnel into the nearest hallway without an audience.
Pick a side, learn the entities, survive the round. Or die in the first two minutes and spectate. Both are valid playstyles.

SCP: Secret Laboratory is a free-to-play multiplayer horror title built around the SCP Foundation universe. Soldiers, scientists, escaped anomalies, and the occasional unlucky Class D get dropped into the same collapsing facility. Each role carries its own win condition, and the round only ends when the dust settles.
Players spawn into one of several roles. Human classes include the well-equipped Chaos Insurgents and the disciplined Facility Guards. On the other side, you can take control of an SCP entity. SCP-049-2, for example, can communicate with other SCPs across the facility, which is handy if your version of teamwork involves zero remorse.
The maps are pre-built, but each match shuffles item placement and key points of interest. A corridor that was clear last round might hide something unfriendly the next time you walk through it. Pattern recognition only takes you so far.
CASSIE, the facility's automated voice, opens every round with a 15-minute countdown. When it reaches zero, the playable area shrinks and the round is forced toward a conclusion. Camping in a corner stops being a viable plan.
Dying does not end your match. Dead players enter Spectator mode, where they can follow the survivors and even adjust firearm attachments. The game also respawns groups of eliminated players at intervals, using its own algorithm to decide who comes back and when.
Status effects can swing a round fast. Buffs include damage reduction, movement boosts, and even invisibility. Debuffs include bleeding, burning, and being disabled at the worst possible moment. The game rarely warns you which one is heading your way.
Victory depends on who is still standing. If only the MTF and Scientists are alive, the humans take it. If Chaos and the SCPs are the last ones moving, they share the win. There are also stalemate cases, such as a high-ranking scientist escaping while only low-ranking Chaos members remain inside.
A dedicated SCP: Secret Laboratory server through HolyHosting comes with the things admins actually care about:
If you have been waiting for a stable home for private SCP: SL nights, the rooms are ready. Lights optional.
