Schedule 1 Casino: Location, Games, and How to Stack Cash

Other Games·April 21, 2025·12 min read

Drug cultivation and dealing are the headline ways to make money in Schedule 1, but they are not the only options. Picking up trash technically pays, although it pays so poorly you will retire of old age before affording the next tier of equipment. The Casino offers a faster route to extra cash if you are willing to play the odds.

Finding the Casino in Hyland Point

The Casino sits in the northern stretch of the starting area, right by the bay. You will not miss it. A giant Casino sign is bolted over the entrance, so subtlety was clearly not in the design brief.

One catch: the place only opens between 4 PM and 5 AM. That means most exits happen well after curfew, so you will likely be dodging patrolling cops on the walk home. Plan the getaway route before you go in.

Casino Layout, NPCs, and Services

Inside you will find three games (Blackjack, Slots, and Ride the Bus) plus three NPCs. Philip loiters near the front as a customer. Melissa and Jennifer handle the Blackjack and Ride the Bus tables. The building also has an ATM and a Cuke Machine for refueling before you bet the week's earnings.

Blackjack

Same rules as the real-world version: aim for a hand totaling 21 or as close as possible without busting, while beating the dealer. Going over 21 loses the round.

Card values are standard:

  • Numbers 2 through 10 count at face value.
  • Jacks, Queens, and Kings are each worth 10.
  • The Ace works as either 1 or 11, whichever is more useful at the moment.

A regular win pays 2x the bet. Landing a natural Blackjack pays 2.5x, which is the cleanest profit margin in the building.

Slots

Match three symbols on the reels to win. The multiplier scales with how rare the combination is:

  • Any three fruits: 2x payout
  • Three of the same fruit: 10x payout
  • Three bells: 25x payout
  • Three sevens: 100x payout

Sevens are the jackpot. Everything else is rent money.

Ride the Bus

A four-round gauntlet that is basically one long string of "double or nothing" bets. You only collect after winning a round, and losing any single round wipes the pot. You can cash out between rounds.

  1. Guess the Color: Red or black on the first face-down card.
  2. Higher or Lower: Will the next card outrank the first?
  3. Inside or Outside: Is the third card's value between the first two?
  4. Guess the Suit: Clubs, Diamonds, Spades, or Hearts on the fourth card.

The earlier rounds are coin-flip territory. Round four is where most runs die.

Save Scumming for Guaranteed Wins

If you are allergic to losing money, save scumming turns the Casino into a steady income stream. Assuming you have no moral hangups, the process is straightforward:

  1. Save at home before walking in, or use the `save` console command.
  2. Play and aim to win.
  3. If you lose, reload the save and head back to the Casino.
  4. Save again after each win to lock in the profit.

For a more direct approach, the `changecash` command followed by a number adds that amount instantly to your stash. The console only works if you have the game running with server admin privileges or in single-player. Multiplayer purists, this one is not for you.
