Renown 3.0.1 Patch Notes: Combat Fixes, Balance Tweaks, and the Road Ahead

Other Games·October 3, 2025·18 min read

Early access medieval mayhem keeps moving fast. RDBK Studios has shipped patch 3.0.1 for Renown after a busy launch week, and it brings a healthy mix of balance retunes, exploit closures, and quality-of-life additions. Below is the full breakdown of what changed, what got fixed, and what the studio is targeting next.

Quick Overview

The standout addition is a Wipe Time Indicator now bolted onto the compass. Beyond that, most of 3.0.1 leans on quieter improvements: combat parry logic, building cost tuning, and a long list of bug squashes. Nothing flashy, but the kind of patch that makes the next session feel a lot less janky.

What RDBK Studios Has Lined Up Next

Renown is barely a few weeks into early access, but the feedback flow from the community has been steady. RDBK has been responsive on the official Discord server, and a clear shortlist of upcoming priorities has surfaced.

Monthly wipes are on the table. Right now servers wipe weekly, which keeps the loop fresh but pushes hard against players with limited play time. The weekly cadence is tied to optimization and maintenance costs, so an instant change is not realistic. The plan is to gradually extend resets to biweekly and, eventually, monthly.

Other items the studio is actively working on:

  • Fatal Errors and EAC Connection Issues
  • Combat Desync and Phasing
  • Treasure System
  • Server Events
  • Titles
  • Solo, Duo, and Trio Servers

That list is just a slice of the broader roadmap. Expect deeper details to drop alongside the next Developer Update.
