Public Crisis Events in Once Human are not the same as scenario events. They are ongoing activities that can vanish from the map and return later, giving server players a shared objective and a chance at useful rewards such as Controllers, Stardust Source, and Energy Links.

When a Public Crisis Event appears, players on the same server can travel there and contribute to the objective. Rewards are randomized, but completed events commonly pay out a mix of Controllers, Stardust Source, and Energy Links.
Note: As of Update 1.4, joining a Public Crisis Event resets the teleportation timer.
The Disco Ball boss floats above the event area, and normal damage is not the answer. To hurt it, dance on the platforms to summon Deviants carrying gas cans. Use the Dance button, wait for the gauge to fill, then defeat the Deviants without destroying the cans.
Pick up the gas cans and throw them at the Disco Ball. Repeat the dance, fight, and throw cycle until the boss falls. It is ridiculous, but at least the instructions are clear.
Interact with the statue in the center to begin. Stand inside one of the three nearby pillars to capture it while Vultures attack. Clear them quickly so the capture bar can finish.
When the bar fills, a Cervitaur Doppelganger appears. Defeat it, move to the next pillar, and repeat the process for all three pillars. Once they are captured, the Cervitaur boss spawns. Beat it to finish the event.
Destroy the three nest sacs around the area, then collect the ciphers they drop. Each sac is guarded by a Disciple. Defeating all three Disciples increases the event difficulty and improves the rewards.
After gathering the ciphers, go to the control terminal in the center. Stand inside the bubble to advance the shutdown gauge while enemies attack. More players inside the bubble make the shutdown progress faster.
Start by damaging the Black Heart while handling hostile deviations nearby. Destroying spores creates a small zone that restores health and sanity. At 50% health, the Black Heart burrows underground.
Three Tangled Vines then appear. Defeat them to bring the Black Heart back, but note that this raises the event difficulty and improves the rewards. Once the Black Heart is destroyed, the Black Lake Monster appears. This boss is a Glutton under a different name, and it must be defeated before the timer expires.
Protect the three miners while they work. Enemies near a miner stop that NPC from mining, so keep attackers away to prevent the progress bar from stalling.
At 70% progress, four Nest Sacs appear. A Glutton also joins the fight and slows progress while alive. Defeat it, wait for mining to reach 100%, then drop down and defeat the Scorcher before time runs out.
Avoid this event until your gear is ready for high-level combat. Level 50 is a safer point to attempt Close Encounter Manibus.
The spawn area has heavy Stardust Pollution, so consume Corn Ale to stop sanity loss for 30 minutes. Hostile Deviants will attack throughout the event. Clear them while shooting the three Manibus tentacles in the sky. Destroy all three to complete the objective.
Surge of Fish skips combat entirely. The event creates a strong fishing opportunity for a limited time, including the chance to catch rare fish such as the Electric Eel Deviant.
Find the Cargo Scramble truck as it moves around the map. Chase it and shoot until it stops. Sproutlet nodes then appear, along with the Seed of Life Deviant, which selects a random nearby player.
The chosen player gains Sproutlets over time, but the event forces PvP mode. Defend yourself if you are chosen, or defeat the host to release the Seed of Life. The event ends once the Sproutlet Storage is empty.
Note: Sproutlets can be exchanged with Nisa at friendly encampments for items such as Controllers and Stardust Source.
Enter the house and shoot the glowing hands in the living room. A short cutscene begins, and the house starts moving.
Find and defeat three possessed objects inside. Spacetime, bound to Q by default on PC, helps reveal them. After all three are defeated, return to the living room and deal with the hands again. A chest appears afterward, and the house settles back down.
Note: Hale's Moving House can reward the Disco Ball Deviant.
Mist Zones are marked by large floating red spheres. Travel to one, enter the center, and defeat every target in the area. Enemy types can vary between zones, but the win condition stays the same. Clear the opponents to claim the rewards, which may include the Mini Feaster Deviant.
