Holy Team

ARK: Survival Evolved is built around shared survival, whether you are teaming up with friends or trying not to become lunch for something with too many teeth. Public servers can be found in the in-game browser, but private servers usually require a direct IP address and port.
This guide explains how to find your ARK server address and connect through Steam.
Keep this address handy. Steam needs the exact IP and port to add the server correctly.

Your server should appear in the list. Select it, join, and try to arrive with a plan. ARK tends to punish improvisation.
The server does not appear in ARK: Make sure the server was added to Steam Favorites first. Also confirm the in-game session filter is set to Favorites, since ARK will not show it under other filters.
Steam shows the server as blank or offline: Check that the IP and port were entered exactly as shown in the server panel. If the address is correct, confirm that the ARK server is running before trying again.
