How to Connect to Your Project Zomboid Server

Hi there! In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to connect to your Project Zomboid server.

Launch the game and go to the “Join” section.

Once inside, you’ll see a list of your saved servers. Now, you’ll need to enter the following information:

• Server Name

• IP Address

• Port

• Username (this is how your character will be identified — it doesn’t need to match your Steam name)

• Password (this also doesn’t need to be the same as your Steam password)

Where can I find my server’s IP and port?

You can find the IP address and port you need to enter in the “Information” section of your server.

Once you’ve entered the information above, your server will appear in the list — simply click on it to join.

You’ll then be asked to choose your spawn location and your character’s traits.
