Hutan Pantai was shown to Farming Simulator 25 fans at Tokyo Game Show 2024. It is the first Farming Simulator map centered on an East Asian region.

The map blends rural farmland with modern city elements, including elevated highways, traditional villages, and a town area with a stronger urban presence. In an interview, GIANTS Software Associate Producer Horia Serban said the map's design drew inspiration from Studio Ghibli films and vibrant city streets.

Serban also explained that the team researched specific areas to make new maps feel authentic. The environment department divided tasks, gathered references, and used prototypes to shape the basic layout.

Hutan Pantai is built around balance: countryside and industry, tradition and technology, authenticity and game performance. The city and rural infrastructure required careful planning, especially with features like tunnels. That kind of work is easy to overlook until a road goes nowhere, which is usually frowned upon.

Zielonka

Zielonka is the third base map in Farming Simulator 25. Fans learned about its return through a discussion between German YouTube channel Cornhub and Chaki, GIANTS Software's community manager.

Long-time players may recognize Zielonka from Farming Simulator 22 DLC. The map is inspired by Central European countries such as Germany, Poland, and Czechia. It features a cozy village, green farmland, a playground, a football field, and small local businesses.
