Empyrion Galactic Survival Erestrum Farming Locations, Crafting, and Uses

Erestrum is one of the resources Empyrion - Galactic Survival players need for mid- and high-tier progression. It is used in important crafting chains, especially when building advanced items and vessel weapons, so knowing where to find it saves a lot of wandering through hostile space.

Where to Find Erestrum Ore

Before crafting Erestrum Ingots, you need Erestrum Ore. Empyrion players can generally find Erestrum Ore on two planets: Aestus and Aitis. Aitis usually offers more opportunities to farm it than Aestus.

Erestrum Ore can also appear in some asteroids, but searching asteroids for it can be strenuous. Planet deposits are usually the more direct option.

After landing on Aestus or Aitis, look for bright-green deposits. Use a Drill to mine Erestrum Ore from those gathering points.

Be careful while farming. Erestrum is radioactive, so mine it only while wearing protective gear. If collecting it becomes too difficult and console access is available, console commands may help you gather it more efficiently.

How to Craft Erestrum Ingots

Once you have enough Erestrum Ore, refine it into Erestrum Ingots with a Constructor. The recipe uses 5x Erestrum Ore to produce 10x Erestrum Ingot.

Any Constructor can refine Erestrum Ore, but higher-tier Constructors complete the work faster:

• Small Constructor: 7 seconds
• Large Constructor: 5 seconds
• Advanced Constructor: 3.5 seconds

Use the best Constructor available if you are processing large amounts. Waiting on ore is not dangerous, but it is a very specific kind of space boredom.

Erestrum Ingot Uses

Erestrum Ingot is used to craft key Empyrion items, including Power Coil, Zascosium Alloy, and Erestrum Gel.

The Power Coil is especially important because it appears in several crafting recipes, including vessel weapons such as the Laser Rifle, Pulse Laser CV, and Rail Gun.

Erestrum-related recipes include:

• Power Coil: 1x Flux Coil, 8x Zascosium Ingot, and 8x Erestrum Ingot
• Zascosium Alloy: 5x Zascosium Ingot and 5x Erestrum Ingot
• Erestrum Gel: 2x Erestrum Ingot
