Dune Awakening Bene Gesserit Trainer Locations and Quest Walkthrough

Bene Gesserit abilities in Dune: Awakening are not limited to characters who start on that path. Other classes can unlock parts of the tree by completing trainer contracts, beginning with Sister Mesa and continuing through Jocasta Cleo's advanced questline.

Bene Gesserit Trainer Quest Overview

The Bene Gesserit trainer path includes one basic contract and five advanced contracts. The basic quest unlocks the first tier of the Bene Gesserit skill tree. The advanced contracts unlock additional rewards and abilities, including some tied to other trees.

Basic Trainer: Sister Mesa

Sister Mesa is found at Helius Gate in the Eastern Shield Wall. Speak with her to start The Missing Pieces.

Complete the contract with these steps:

• Travel to The O'odham and enter Stonestep Village.
• Move to the northeastern border and climb the rock formations until you reach stairs leading to an open doorway.
• Enter the cavern and take the stairs on the right.
• Continue until you reach an arch.
• Climb the arch and open the chest containing the Lisan al-Gaib and Alam al-Mithal texts.
• Go to Imperial Testing Station No. 71.
• Head west, find the ruin, and enter it.
• Walk upward inside until you reach a gap.
• Cross the gap with your preferred tool, such as a Shigawire Claw or Suspensor Belt.
• Continue northwest until you find a chest on a ledge.
• Open it to collect The Mahdi's Blade.
• Return to Sister Mesa at Helius Gate.
• Hand over the items to complete the contract.

• Unlocks the Bene Gesserit Skill Tree

• 7,000 Solari

Advanced Trainer: Jocasta Cleo

Jocasta Cleo is the advanced Bene Gesserit trainer. Travel to Harko Village by Ornithopter, then go left from the landing bay toward Baron's Eye. Continue until you find stairs leading into an alley. Jocasta waits at the end of that path.

Her questline has five contracts.

Advanced Quest 1: Sacred Records

• Travel to Mirzabah in Suk Alusus and enter from the north.
• Progress until you find a room with a Purple ID band.
• Use the Purple ID band on the door to your left.
• Inside, look up and right for a small roof gap.
• Climb through it to reach the hidden Fremen chamber with the Sacred Records and a rare chest.
• Travel to Stone Sentinel near Pinnacle Tradepost in the Eastern Shield Wall.
• Approach the marked map location to update the objective.
• Climb the structure or use an ornithopter for a higher start.
• Reach the top and collect the chests and the List of Naibs.
• Return to Jocasta in Harko Village.

• Unlocks Level 2 Bene Gesserit Skills
• 700 XP
• 8,500 Solari

Advanced Quest 2: The Missionaria Protectiva

Bring a Handheld Resource Scanner for this contract.

• Travel to Stonestep Village in O'odham.
• Go to the top floor and find the altar containing the fragment.
• Scan the fragment to reveal the next objective.
• Use the Handheld Resource Scanner on the altar where you found the Panoplia Propheticus Fragment.
• Travel to the House of Ilm near Stonestep Village.
• Climb a nearby plateau to reach the village entrance.
• At the House of Ilm entrance, look for the Sandworm statue.
• Pick up On Witches directly behind the statue.
• Return the item to Jocasta.

• Unlocks Level 3 Mentat Skills
• 350 XP
• 14,500 Solari

Advanced Quest 3: The Impact of Ecology

• Return to Imperial Testing Station No. 71.
• Enter and reach the circular room with blue and purple pentashields.
• Take the hallway directly left of the entrance stairs.
• Defeat the enemies and collect the Blue ID Band.
• Return to the circular room and pass through the blue pentashield.
• Defeat the next enemies and find the Purple ID Band.
• Use it to pass the purple pentashield into the large circular room.
• Clear all enemies in the chamber.
• Take the Lexicon of Ecology from a small cubby on the right side.
• Return to Harko Village and discover Jocasta is missing.
• Speak to the NPC near the donkey to learn mercenaries are pursuing her.
• Go to Hannivar's in Harko Village and speak with the Syndicate Mercenary in the corner.
• Buy a Melange Spiced Beer from the bar and offer it to him.
• Ask about Jocasta to learn the ambush location.
• Travel to the marked spot in O'odham and prepare for a fight.
• Defeat all hostiles.
• Follow the quest marker farther south.
• Defeat another enemy wave.
• Find Jocasta hiding among cacti near the rock walls.
• Speak with Jocasta, then return to Harko Village and deliver the Lexicon of Ecology.

Advanced Quest 4: Secrets of the Syndicate

• Travel to The Slant in Jabal Eifrit Al-janub, east of Imperial Testing Station No. 76.
• Clear the enemies and read the notebook inside the structure.
• Travel to the Eastern Shield Wall, south of Imperial Testing Station No. 17.
• Clear the occupied base and find the intel in a box near the cave entrance.
• Head to Sheol and enter the Wreck of the Ourea (Aft).
• Defeat the enemies guarding the entrance.
• Inside, read the notebook containing the flight logs.
• Travel to western Mysa Tarill and find Khala Cavern.
• Push into Khala Cavern and defeat the Syndicate Underlords.
• Exit and climb the nearby rock formations to find the Syndicate Leader.
• Defeat the leader and guards.
• Loot the intel from the leader's body and return to Jocasta.

• Unlocks the Screech Capstone Skill
• 350 XP
• 14,500 Solari

Advanced Quest 5: The Rogue Bene Gesserit

• Use Compel 20 times. The same enemy can be used repeatedly.
• Use Litany Against Fear 10 times.
• Travel to Harko Village and confront Lady Margot Fenring.
• Locate and speak with Margot Fenring in Harko Village.
• Report to Jocasta and tell her what you learned about Margot Fenring.
• Finish the dialogue with Jocasta to complete the full Bene Gesserit questline.
