Craftopia v20231218.1856 Patch Notes: Unnefell Desert, Boss Skills, Servers, and Fixes

Other Games·December 21, 2023·22 min read

Craftopia patch v20231218.1856 reopens part of the world that became inaccessible after the Seamless World Update. Before this update, entering some locked regions could bounce players back to an earlier spot and take health away, which is a fairly rude way for a map to say no.

The headline change is the partial opening of Unnefell Desert, but the patch also brings trial dedicated servers, a new Boss Skill category, a higher level cap, pipeline improvements, balance tuning, and a long list of fixes.

Craftopia v20231218.1856 highlights

The new biome is Unnefell Desert. Only part of it is available in this build, so some locations are still blocked. New age dungeons, NPC quests, caves, shops, the era level, and a new field boss are planned for later updates.

Dedicated servers are also back on a trial basis. The developers note that the feature may still have stability, optimization, and bug problems because specifications changed during the move to the seamless world. Players who want a server immediately can also set up a Craftopia dedicated server through HolyHosting if that fits their group.

The update adds Boss Skill, a new skill category unlocked by defeating dungeon bosses and field bosses. The character level cap also increases from 50 to 60, giving players more room to handle tougher fights.
