Mods can change Assetto Corsa dramatically, from better visuals and new cars to tracks, UI tools, and full modpacks. The easiest method uses Content Manager, but manual installation also works if the mod is packaged correctly.

Most Assetto Corsa mods are easiest to manage through the Content Manager app, available from the Content Manager download page. It has free and premium versions. The premium version unlocks some features earlier and supports the developers, while the free version is enough for basic mod management.
After Content Manager is installed, use this process:
This route is usually cleaner because Content Manager handles placement and reduces the chance of files landing in the wrong folder.
Manual installation is still possible, but it requires more care:
Manual installs can fail if the archive structure is unusual or if files are placed one folder too deep. The larger risk is overwriting core game files by mistake, which can cause bugs, crashes, or missing content.
If a mod includes its own instructions, follow those first. Assetto Corsa mods are not all packaged the same way, because apparently even racing games need a paperwork corner.
