ARK Summer Bash returned in 2023 as a Summer EVO event, bringing boosted rates, bright creature colors, seasonal cosmetics, and the usual reminder that dinosaurs can absolutely wear summer fashion better than expected.

ARK Summer Bash first appeared in 2019 with boosted XP, skins, and event-colored creature spawns. The 2020 event expanded the color pool and added more summer-themed items and Chibi-Pets.
In 2021, Studio Wildcard added more summer skins and extended the XP boosts to additional server types, including ARKpocalypse, Conquest, and Small Tribes. The 2022 Summer EVO event then brought back previous skins, emotes, Chibi-Pets, boosted rates, and more creature colors.
The 2023 version followed that same seasonal pattern. It focused on progression bonuses and returning summer content rather than a completely new event structure.
According to the Summer Bash 2023 announcement, the event started on June 30 and ran for 24 days, ending on July 24.
That timing lined up closely with earlier ARK summer events:
Summer EVO 2023 included boosted rates, event colors, skins, emotes, Chibi-Pets, and one listed event item.

Unofficial server owners can manually activate the ARK Summer Bash event with this console parameter: -activeevent=Summer.
Manual activation may not perfectly match the official server event. Some bonuses, items, or event behavior can differ when the event is triggered outside its normal live window.
