Aloft can easily absorb dozens of hours through exploration, building, farming, and sailing between islands. Console commands are useful when players want more control over accessibility, testing, screenshots, or convenience. They can also break progression if used carelessly, so treat the more powerful commands like a sharp tool rather than a toy hammer.

The in-game command console opens with F1 by default. If that does not work on your keyboard, try Fn+F1 instead. Once the console appears, type the command and press Enter.
Some Aloft commands require an extra value, such as on, off, or a number. For example, a toggle command may need on or off, while a speed or intensity command may require a specific value.

Aloft console commands are not case-sensitive. The console currently converts letters to lowercase, so capitalization is not required.
Some commands may not work on multiplayer servers unless the player has the correct permissions. On a hosted server, ask the server administrator for access before trying admin-level commands.
