Minecraft has always been about showing off—whether it’s building the perfect house, sporting a cool skin, or wielding the strongest gear. On servers, this is taken to the next level with Ultra Cosmetics, a Minecraft plugin that lets players earn and showcase a variety of cosmetic rewards. From following pets to dazzling particle effects, there’s something for everyone. Each key can grant up to four random cosmetics, and nearly every feature is customizable via the plugin’s configuration files.

Download & Installation:
Get Ultra Cosmetics on Spigot and save the .jar file.
Ensure your server runs a compatible version (1.8, 1.12, 1.18, or 1.19), upload the file to the plugins folder and restart the server.

Permissions Setup:
Edit config.yml in UltraCosmetics to link with a permissions plugin like LuckPerms.
Use !lp-api for LuckPerms or other commands for different plugins.
Save changes and restart the server.
Keys & Chests:
/uc give key [amount] [player] → Give yourself keys.
/uc menu → Open the cosmetic menu.
Click a chest to generate 4 random cosmetics per key.
Rarity & Activation:
Some items are rarer than others, encouraging players to earn more keys.
Equip cosmetics from the menu (pets, mounts, particles, hats, etc.).
Only one cosmetic per type can be active, but you can combine types (e.g., a pet and particles).
Clear cosmetics anytime using the redstone block item in the menu.
Advanced Configuration:
config.yml → Adjust prices, rewards, cooldowns, and more.
custom_cosmetics.yml → Create custom hats, particles, and other cosmetics.
messages_en.yml → Customize all plugin messages.
permissions.txt → Auto-generated list of all permissions.
Common Issues:
Commands not working → Check the .jar location and server version; verify /plugins and server console for errors.
Permission errors opening chests → Ensure permissions are correctly configured and the server fully restarted.
Floating text remains after opening a chest → Usually resolves automatically, or restart the server to reload the plugin.
