Shared Minecraft Hosting or Dedicated Hosting?

General·March 22, 2026·3 min read

On a "shared" (the standard), the CPU and RAM resources of the node are shared among several users, making it more affordable and accessible for small communities and mod servers among friends, although there may be performance variations if other servers demand high resources simultaneously. We also offer 24/7 monitoring of node resources at no extra cost and take immediate measures to balance the load across all our nodes and ensure optimal performance for everyone.

On the other hand, a dedicated server offers exclusive, reserved, and dedicated resources solely for your use, guaranteeing superior performance regardless of other users' activity on the node. Additionally, within the control panel, you have the ability to split the plan into several different servers and adjust this configuration according to your needs, providing greater flexibility for developers or networks, for example. This exclusivity comes with a higher cost.

If you're looking for the best price/quality ratio, we recommend shared hosting, as the performance difference compared to dedicated is not significant for most servers. Plus, you can start with shared and, if you later need more resources, you can upgrade to a dedicated server by paying only the difference.
