If you're tired of Creepers and other destructive mobs ruining your builds, don't worry! You can disable this feature on your Minecraft server using the gamerule command. In this guide, we show you how to do it.

Start your Minecraft server: Make sure your server is running. If you haven't started it yet, go to your control panel and click the button to start the server.
Access the server console: From your server control panel, access the console to enter commands.

Type the following command in the console: In the server console, enter the following command to prevent mobs from destroying blocks:
/gamerule mobGriefing false
βοΈ This command disables the ability of mobs to alter or destroy blocks.
Confirm the change: Once the command is executed, you will receive a message in the console confirming that the gamerule has been updated.

With this setting, mobs like the following will no longer be able to destroy blocks:
If at any point you want to allow mobs to destroy blocks again, just run the command:
/gamerule mobGriefing true
