Multiverse Plugin Guide
When building a Minecraft server, many owners use multiple worlds for players to enjoy — perfect for Factions, Skyblock, Prison, or just extra maps. To move between them, portals are required, which is made possible through Multiverse-Core and its addons. These plugins allow you to create portals, link worlds, manage Nether/End dimensions, and share inventories.
Installation
Download Multiverse-Core and desired addons (Portals, NetherPortals, Inventories, SignPortals) from Bukkit.
Upload the .jar files to your server’s /plugins folder
Restart your server.
Getting Started
Make yourself an operator (op).
Use /mv create <world> to generate new worlds.
Manage portals and links using the plugins below.
Main Addons
Multiverse-Portals – Create teleportation portals between worlds or dimensions.Commands:
//wand – Select region for portal.
/mvp create <name> – Create portal.
/mvp modify dest p:<otherPortal> – Link portals.
Multiverse-SignPortals – Use signs instead of portals.Write [mv] on line 2 and p:<portalName> on line 3.
Multiverse-NetherPortals – Link Nether or End worlds.Commands:
/mv create <world> nether
/mvnp link nether <world1> <world2>
Multiverse-Inventories – Share or separate inventories between worlds.Commands:
/mvinv group – Create or edit world groups with shared inventories.
Permissions
To let players use portals:
multiverse.portal.access.<portalName>
