How to Install OpeNLogin on My Minecraft Server 📜

Hello, Minecraft server administrators! 😄 Today we are going to learn how to install the "OpenLogin" plugin on your Minecraft server. This plugin is super useful for users on your server to register and manage their passwords.

There are many login plugins on the internet, however, not all of them offer a friendly interface for their players.

Let's go! 🚀

• First, go to the official plugin page on Spigot and download the latest version.
  Make sure to download the version compatible with your server. Do not worry, you will find it easily! 📥
• • 🌐 OpeNLogin 

• Access your server files using your HolyHosting
• Stop the Server.
• Go to the plugins (Make sure your server is using a PaperSpigot version or one that allows installing plugins) ✨
• Upload the OpenLogin.jar file you downloaded in the previous step. 🔼

• Start your server.
• Done! The plugin should be working now. You can verify by entering the server and using the /plugins command. You should see OpenLogin in green. ✅ (You can also check that it loaded correctly in the console)

• When you enter the server, only this time, you will have to select one of these two options, in our case we are going to use the option (OpeNLogin)

• As we can see, our plugin works correctly.

Basic Commands

• /register <password> <confirm password> Registers your user with a password of your choice, every user entering the server for the first time will need to do this.
• /login <password> Logs into the server with an already registered account, users will need to execute this command every time they enter the server to verify themselves.
• /changepassword <current password> <new password> changes the password you use to log into the server.

More settings

In the "config.yml" file located inside container ----- > plugins --- > OpeNLogin, we can edit some extra features such as:

• Language, the plugin is in English by default, but you can change it to Spanish.
• Time for the user to log in, the default time set by the plugin is 45 seconds, but you can change it.
• Minimum and maximum password length.

🔴 Problem: The plugin does not appear in the plugins list.

✔️​Solution: Make sure you uploaded the .jar file in the correct folder (plugins) and that it is the version compatible with your server.

🔴 Problem: The server does not start after installing the plugin.

✔️​Solution: Verify that there is no conflict with other plugins. Check the log files to see the specific error.

🔴 Problem: Players cannot log in after installing the plugin.

✔️​Solution: Check the plugin configuration in the config.yml. Make sure the details are correctly configured.
