Hi, surely at some point you wanted to install mods on your Project Zomboid server. In this guide we will explain how to do it step by step.

How do I install mods? The installation process is quite simple, although you need to pay attention to the steps! First of all, we will go to the Steam workshop and subscribe to the mods we want to have them on the client. Then, we will look for the "mod ID" and "WorkShop ID" of each one, which you will find by scrolling down on the mod's page.

Now, we go to our server and enter the "cache" folder

Then to the "Server" folder

And finally to the file "ProjectZomboid64.ini"

Here, we need to find the line "mods" and "WorkshopItems" and enter the values we copied earlier.

If you want to add multiple mods, simply place a ; and add the mods, remember they must be in the same order to avoid issues.

Now, save the changes and start the server.
If you did everything correctly and the mods are compatible, the server will stay running and you will have the mods installed!
Conclusion
We hope this guide has been helpful and remember🚀, feel free to ask on HolyHosting Discord or contact our support.
