Hello! At some point, you’ve probably wanted to install mods on your Project Zomboid server. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process step by step.

How do I install mods?
The installation process is pretty straightforward, but you need to follow the steps carefully!
First, head over to the Steam Workshop and subscribe to the mods you want so they’re available on your client. Then, find the “Mod ID” and “Workshop ID” for each one—you can locate these by scrolling down on the mod’s page.

Next, go to your server and open the "cache" folder.

Then, open the "Server" folder.

And finally, open the "ProjectZomboid64.ini" file.

Here, you need to find the lines labeled "mods" and "WorkshopItems" and enter the values you copied earlier.

If you want to add multiple mods, simply separate them with a semicolon (;). Make sure to keep them in the same order to avoid any issues.

Now, save the changes and start the server.

If you’ve done everything correctly and the mods are compatible, the server will start up, and your mods will be installed! Conclusion
