Default Combinations
When creating an elevator, you can choose a combination number that will change the elevator's style. These can be customized, but the defaults are as follows:
1. Style 1 - Redstone block on the bottom with a quartz block on
top.
2. Style 2 - Iron block on the bottom with a quartz slab on top.
3. Style 3 - A blue wool block with a red carpet on top.
4. Style 4 - A dirt block with granite on top.
Commands
- /elevator help: Shows all elevator commands.
- /elevator create [Combination Number] [Distance #]: Creates a new elevator at a player's feet.
- /elevator list: Lists all available combination styles.

Configuration
If that wasn't enough, you can also configure the entire plugin. You can change or create elevator styles, set a maximum distance, or modify every message.
You can do this as follows:
1. Go to your Holy Hosting Server Panel and stop the server.
2. Access "FTP File Access" and log in.
3. Access the "plugins" folder and then the "Elevator" folder.
4. Press "Edit" to the right of any .yml file to edit it.
5. Once changes are made, press "Save" and then start the server.
Permissions
- elevator.use: Permission for all elevator combinations. All players have this permission by default.
- elevator.use.[combination]: Permission to use a specific elevator combination.
- elevator.distance.[distance]: Gives a player a unique maximum elevation distance.
- elevator.bypass.cooldown: Bypasses the configured elevator cooldown.
- elevator.bypass.distance: Permission to ignore the configured maximum distance.
- elevator.update: Players with this permission are notified of new
updates.
Common Issues:
- Plugin commands don't appear in the game: Often, this occurs because the plugin didn't load correctly. Make sure you are running a plugin-compatible version. Otherwise,
- The plugin doesn't work after changing the configuration file: Generally, this means there is a formatting issue in the configuration file. We recommend using a validator
- Players can't use the commands: For a player to use the plugin's commands, they will need permissions through a permissions plugin. You can use the permissions mentioned above
