Creating a shop on a Minecraft server can be tricky—without security, items are at risk of theft, and redstone contraptions are vulnerable to creepers. Shopkeepers solves this by letting you create secure, customizable NPC shops for players or admins. Here’s a streamlined guide to get started with Holy Hosting.
Quick Overview
Shopkeepers allows the creation of NPC shops with a simple GUI to manage items, prices, and the appearance of shopkeepers. Admin shops can have infinite stock, ideal for selling keys or rare items. Players can also set up their own shops safely.

Plugin Download & Installation
Save the .jar file.
Upload it to your server’s plugins folder and restart the server.

Player Shops
Players can create shops using commands or the Shopkeeper Egg:
/shopkeeper give → Get a shopkeeper egg.
Place a chest nearby for items.
Right-click the chest with the egg to assign it to the shopkeeper.
Shift + Right-click the egg to choose the type of NPC.
Click on the desired block to place the shopkeeper.
Add items to the chest and set prices by shift + right-clicking the shopkeeper.
Admin Shops
Admin shops are easier, with infinite stock and no chest required:
/shopkeeper [entity] → Choose any creature to act as the shopkeeper.
Shift + Right-click the shopkeeper to edit it.
Place items to sell in the top row and currency in the second row.
Done! Players can now buy or sell items using your admin shop.

Changing the Currency
By default, Shopkeepers uses emeralds. To change it:
Open config.yml in plugins/Shopkeepers.
Locate currency-item: and replace it with your desired item (e.g., diamonds).
Save and restart the server.
