ChestShop: Ultimate Guide for Minecraft Servers 🛒✨
In Minecraft Survival, whether you’re a builder, miner, or redstone engineer, you’ll eventually face the same challenge: running out of resources for your projects or suddenly needing an item you haven’t found yet. Chest shops provide the perfect solution—a fast and convenient way for players to trade items without spending hours mining.
The ChestShop plugin takes this concept even further by securing your shops from potential thieves and integrating seamlessly with economy plugins like EssentialsX. Setting up your first shop might feel intimidating, but this guide will walk you through installing and using ChestShop on your Holy
Hosting server. 🏪💰

ChestShop transforms the simple chest shop into a safe and efficient system. Players can create physical shops using only a chest and a sign. Only the shop creator or a server administrator can modify them. Transactions are managed through economy plugins, preventing shops from being looted or tampered with while you build a thriving marketplace.
🔹 Plugin Download

Visit the ChestShop page on Spigot.
Click the Download button in the top-right corner.
Save the file in a safe location.
Repeat the process with Vault and an economy plugin of your choice, like EssentialsX.
You’ll get a file named something like ChestShop.jar—once ready, it’s time to add it to your server. ⚡
🔹 Dependencies
ChestShop requires:
Vault

An economy plugin (recommended: EssentialsX)
This ensures smooth handling of transactions and currency management. 💵
🔹 Server Installation
Stop your server from the control panel.
Confirm that your server version supports plugins, such as PaperMC or Spigot.
Place the ChestShop.jar, Vault.jar, and your economy plugin into your plugins folder.
Restart the server to load the plugins.
Once complete, ChestShop is ready to use!

🔹 Creating a ChestShop in Minecraft
Setting up a shop is straightforward:
Place a chest where you want your shop and fill it with items for sale.
Attach a sign to the chest. Skip the first line by pressing Return.
On the second line, write the quantity of items to sell at once. Example: 16 for 16 carrots.
On the third line, write B followed by the purchase price. Example: B14.
Optionally, add a colon : followed by S and the sell price to allow players to sell to you. Example: S7.
Place a question mark ? on the last line and close the sign editor.
The question mark will change to the item name, and the top line will display the username of the shop creator. Players can start using the shop immediately.
