Hi, in this guide we will explain how to identify the dependencies of your mods and plugins. This is important, as some of them require additional files to work correctly.
Detecting missing plugin dependencies For this tutorial, we will use the plugin "WorldGuard" as an example. - Start the server. - Go to the console. Right there, we can detect the missing dependency, let's read carefully:

The error tells us that the plugin "worldedit" is required for worldguard to work. When downloading a plugin, the page will usually indicate which dependency is needed.

To fix this, simply download the missing dependency/plugin, install it, and start the server. Type the command "pl" in the console; if the plugins show up in green, it means they are working correctly.

Missing mod dependencies For mods it is the same, you need to read which dependency is being requested in the console:

In case you cannot find the missing dependency in the console, go to the most recent file in "crash-reports" and look for the missing dependency there.

Once we find the requested file, we download it, install it, and start the server.
