Conan Exiles is a game primarily focused on online multiplayer, where most of the gameplay revolves around growing stronger to dominate your enemies. While the game does offer a single-player mode, the main experience is designed to be enjoyed online with other players. This is where private servers come into play, allowing players to host and control their own Conan Exiles server.
Whether the server is open to everyone or exclusive to a select few, joining a Conan Exiles server is very easy with HolyHosting. Today, we’ll show you a few ways to join your Conan Exiles server and start surviving alongside other players.

Getting the IP
Go to your HolyHosting server panel and log in.
Scroll down to the section labeled IP Address:Port.
Copy the IP and port listed on the right side — you’ll need them in a moment.
Now you can proceed to join the game using the IP!
Connecting via Steam
Make sure the Conan Exiles application is closed on your computer.
From the HolyHosting Panel, locate the IP Address:Port section.
Now open steam, then "view" and "game servers"

Select your game "conan exiles" and add the server.

(Optional) If prompted, enter the server password in the Steam window and connect.
Conan Exiles will now launch and automatically connect to your server.
Joining In-Game
You can also join directly using the in-game server browser:
Launch Conan Exiles, then click Play Online.
Once loaded, find and click the Direct Connect button at the bottom of the screen.
When prompted, enter your server’s address in the top text field.
If needed, enter the server password in the second text field.
When ready, press OK to start connecting to the server.
Common Issues
Error when trying to join the requested game:This error often appears if you try to join using the Connect with Steam button on the panel while the game is already running. To avoid this, make sure the game is completely closed before attempting to connect via Steam. Once you click the button on the panel, the game will restart automatically and connect to the desired server.
Connection timed out! Could not find server error
This is a generic error that can appear when trying to connect to a server. The most common cause is that the server isn’t online. Make sure Conan Exiles has been started from your server panel and allow a few minutes for it to fully load. If the issue persists, especially when using Direct Connect, double-check that the IP and port you entered match those listed on your server panel. After verifying, try connecting again.
